New Horizon Yoga is a welcoming community for beginning and experienced yoga pratitioners in San Antonio. A variety of yoga activities are offered that are perfect for students of all skill levels and body types. Choose from Private and Semi Private Hatha Yoga instruction, Corporate Classes, Home Practice Sequencing, Meditation Practices, and more. Also available to teach yoga at an Event at your location. The word “yoga” means “union” and refers to the spiritual union between the mind and the body. If you are new to yoga, New Horizon Yoga is a great place to begin your practice in San Antonio. Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is always the best attire for yoga practice. You will be provided with assists to support your practice and help you move freely into the full expression of each pose. You are encouraged to do as much as you feel comfortable doing at New Horizon Yoga.
Experienced yogis are free to go deeper in their practice while respecting individual needs. All yogis are encouraged to move towards a mindful practice that balances the physicality of asanas with breath work and meditation. Whether you are new to yoga or have made it a part of your lifestyle for many years, we invite you to always approach your practice with a beginner’s mind and be open to the possibilities as they enfold.
At New Horizon Yoga, everyone is treated with respect and love. I possess a diverse background in yogic philosophy, movement arts, structural and energetic alignment, and injury prevention. Yoga is a transformative practice. I am passionate about helping students deepen their mind/body connection, heal from past physical injuries and emotional trauma, and empower personal growth.
